I am sure at one time or another we all experienced the frustration of having difficulty in trying to send huge chunk of files or a very large file via email. There are many ways to address this problem, one of which though is by splitting the large file into smaller chunks using special software. The problem with file splitting is that 1) you have attached multiple chunks of the split files and 2) the recipient need to have a way to merge the split chunks of files and this is very cumbersome.
One possible way to facilitate sending of large file is by storing the file in a online storage shared folder in the internet. One such service is provided by
FileDen. The service is free, do go ahead and check it out and why not sign up as free member?
There is another method which does not require the need to access internet online shared folder.
Just installed a special plugin-in to your Microsoft Outlook and you are set to be able to send file as large as 2GB in size. The files you send via Microsoft are stored and forwarded by YouSendIt server to the recipient. The down side to this service is that it is only applicable to those using Microsoft Outlook. The upside is that the service is completely free so why not sign up and make full use of it? Check the plugin over here
